QCSD is pleased to announce that Neidig and Quakertown elementary schools have qualified to become Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) schools based on State requirements.

This means ALL students attending Quakertown and Neidig Elementary schools, regardless of
free/reduced status, will receive Free Lunch in addition to the districtwide Free Breakfast program currently in place. At this time, the other schools within the district have not met the State requirements to become CEP-certified.

The CEP qualification for both QE and Neidig will be retroactive as of October 1, 2022, meaning all lunches purchased since Oct. 1st will be refunded. Please allow the District a few weeks to collect the data needed for these reimbursements. In addition, as we work through changing our Point of Sale system any lunch charges that incur during this time will be refunded.

Please note, a la carte items and second meals are not included in the CEP program and will be charged to the student’s account. If you have any questions, please contact the Business Office at 215-529-2012.
