Hello QE Families:
We had a wonderful week full of learning, school spirit, and community. Our younger students showed effort during their foundational DIBELS literacy assessments, which help us measure reading fluency and guide differentiated instruction in the classroom. We also celebrated our first QE PRIDE assembly with singing, dancing, and a focus on showing perseverance, respect, self-control, dependability, and effort. It was fun to see all of QE gathered together, showing a positive school culture. Finally, we closed our week on a thoughtful note, coming together for a moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11. We will never forget the lives lost, and we encouraged students to honor the heroes who showed kindness by helping others in need. I hope your weekend is filled with kindness.
