Dear School and Community Stakeholders,

I am writing to invite you to a review and feedback session regarding our K-12 School Guidance Plan. This guidance plan is pivotal in ensuring that we provide a clear, structured, and equitable approach to career development, guidance services, and academic support for all of our students. Our school district is required to integrate Career Education and Work (CEW) standards into our curriculum and develop a comprehensive, sequential program of guidance services for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

We believe that feedback from our school and community stakeholders is essential in shaping a plan that is both comprehensive and relevant. Your input will help us ensure the guidance plan supports our students' educational and career pathways in the best possible way. It will also help us establish where we have been and where we want to go as a school community. The session will provide an opportunity for you to review the previous plan, ask questions, and offer suggestions about future directions, particularly the skills, competencies and abilities needed for the future workforce.

Details of the Review and Feedback Session:
Date: January 27, 2025
Time: 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Quakertown Community High School - Performing Arts Center

The final version of the K-12 School Guidance Plan will be available for community review by the end of February 2025 and submitted to our local Board of School Directors for approval in March 2025. We look forward to your attendance and valuable feedback. Please RSVP to Carrie Staffieri at cstaffieri@qcsd.org or 215-529-2195. If you are unable to attend but would like to provide input, please connect via email to share your thoughts.

Thank you for your continued support and for your involvement in this process. We greatly appreciate your time and dedication to being part of the educational experiences of all our students.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Staffieri
