Fourth graders at Quakertown Elementary School had a special learning treat today as math teacher Mrs. Held took them across the street to Alumni Field on a beautiful Friday for Turkey Trot 2020.

Students moved from station to station, each set up by Mrs. Held, to complete various math activities that relate to their turkey sheet. Students participated both live and virtually.

“It’s a great way to get our students out of the building and learning,” Principal Dr. Michael Zackon said. “Mrs. Held does a wonderful job keeping students engaged, and this exemplifies the out-of-the-box thinking our teachers are employing during the pandemic.”
